Store-bought cookies just aren't good enough.
An avid Food Network junkie, PJ Cookies President and Founder Paul Masser was watching a show where a chef and a baker were having a chocolate chip cookie competition. After seeing what they had done, Paul knew he could do better so he bought a stand mixer and started experimenting with flavors. After some work, and a lot of taste testing, the Gourmet Chocolate Chip Cookie was created.
Family, friends, and friends of friends gave glowing reviews and started to ask when Paul was going to start selling his cookies. Unfortunately his chosen career is extremely demanding so he recruited long-time girlfriend Jackie Webster to help out. Jackie quickly learned Paul's secrets and not only became an excellent baker, she helped develop even more terrific recipes.
Through good friend Cherise Wintz, Paul and Jackie were introduced to Kathy Blackman, founder of Grammy K's Desserts. Kathy graciously shared her knowledge and gave them the tools they needed to launch PJ Cookies.
